Inspired by Angry Tiki, I made a slight modification to my custom banner. Check it out.

I think it'd be hilarious if everyone on Vox who uses a custom banner slipped a Mooninite or two in to their banner. Of course, then we'd have to shut the whole site down so we could detonate some of the servers before the press conference.

There's apparently a new fad among the kids called "ghostriding the whip". It seems to involve playing some dopey song, putting your car in drive, and then riding somewhere on the exterior of it. I don't know what the "whip" part is all about, so if you can explain it to me, I'd appreciate it.

These videos just show how far ahead of my time I was back in high school. Somewhere there's a video of my friend Moises and I doing this exact same thing with my Plymouth Horizon, except back when we did it, we were blaring the Cramps from the car stereo (at least from the one speaker that worked), and we were wearing rollerskates (we stole them from the skating rink) so that we could grab on to the bumper of the car and have it tow us up the street.

That's as far as we'd planned. Neither of us being strong skaters, we were unable to gracefully re-enter the vehicle. Fortunately, it veered sideways and crashed in to a fire hydrant. There was no damage, and we lived to see another day.
