Got this video from Paul a little while ago and it's my new favorite video of pretty much all time. Holy shit, dudes. Make sure you watch the whole thing because it just keeps getting better and better.

You guys have to check out this video. It is one of the turns on the Nurenburg Ring race track in Germany. It appears that they let normal people just drive their cars on the track at some point in the early 70's. This looks like it is shot on a pretty tight turn after what must be a very fast straight. A lot of people took it way too hot...

All's I gots to say is - decreasing radius turn + swing axle rear suspension = bad day! I wonder how much trouble those drivers got when they got home and had to explain to their wife that they totalled the family car!

It's as if Jonestown sponsored a stock car race

I love the dude who jumps/falls out of his car. It looks like he was trying to jump clear, but if it had kept going it would have flattened him. Then he calmly gets up, brushes off, and continues on. Awesome.

i feel bad laughing at those people but it was even funnier because the cars reminded me of fainting goats. don't ask why, my mind just works that way.

That reminds me of the 91 freeway on a rainy day. When those people ran up to the red car to help out, I kept wondering if another car was going to come and crash into them.

It's hilarious, but at the same time, stupefyingly frightening to think that track owners were allowing these totally skill-less morons to attempt suicide. I suppose drivers would have needed to sign caveats indemnifying the owners......I hope.

Ahhh the old days, when you could do stupifyingly dumb things, and nobody stopped you...

I've been filling a little bit of my time-off playing Project Gotham Racing 2. Nurburgring is not one of my favorite tracks. I total the Enzo Ferrari on that turn just about every time.
