So, it seems like the main point that everyone who supports Clinton over Obama likes to make is that he doesn't have the "experience" on "day one" that she would have. I hear it over and over and for the life of me, I can't figure out how it amounts to a compelling argument.
First off, what experience? Running the country? Granted, she was involved in Bill's presidency a lot, but that's kind of a unique situation. I don't recall a previous occasion where someone wasn't running for re-election, where "must have run the country before" was a job requirement. Are we talking about her experience in the Senate? That seems odd, because Obama is a Senator too. Is it just that she's been a Senator for longer? If that's the case, what's the requirement?
Further, how is this "experience" any indication of aptitude? Bush had a lot of experience going in to office, didn't he? Bush Sr.? Reagan? Nixon? All those guys had lots of experience, and I can't say I'm a fan of the work they did as Presidents. Maybe a lack of experience is just what that office needs. Maybe the real cure for "more of the same" is to actually vote for someone who isn't exactly that.
As far as I'm concerned, experience is only a part of the candidate. What else do you got?

also, my best friend is a republican (bizarre, i know), and she swears up and down that based on obama's upbringing and his family history, he's a "radical muslim". riiiiiiight.
I love that xenophobic bigotry that is based on nothing but ignorant conjecture.
Oh and by love... I mean:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRGHHHH
If we go by their same rules of logic...and with my name being Damien... I have to be the antichrist right?
Oh...that's right... I am...
Maybe it's worded that way because she's a former first lady and they are counting her years there as "expierence." Who knows, maybe ole Bill let her run the country when he was getting blow jobs or just burnt out on the job.
:D
The magazine has a timeline showing the experience and what type each president has had.
Clinton simply will be more effective, as she won't have the distractions Obama will have. You see, I look at the two of them and make some assumptions.
Obama is male and a good looking guy. I imagine he has sex. Lots of it. He"ll sit in a meeting to chart the path to world peace, but his mind will occasionally wander to, oh, Mrs. Obama, or something and the near-illegal things they did in the Lincoln bedroom last night.
Clinton won't have that problem. Hasn't had that problem in probably (how old is Chelsea?) years. She will be able to focus. World peace will be achieved. We will all be better for it.
No-brainer.
